I have a red sc430 and you got my attention as I am only interested in maintaining the sensor system with the car...

the photos look great but I've decided that 25 profile tires in the chicagoland area is asking for trouble.... so I'm just going to stick with 18s..

Sorry to hear that- David's wheels are even nicer in person. His rear tires are 285/30-19 (not 25 series). Personally, I would not hesitate to drive on these wheels in Chicago or New York. They are that good.
We've been building the HRE 540R series for over a year now, and I have yet to see one come back due to pothole damage... they are unbelieveably strong! A few guys have let their G/F or wife scrape the rims along curbs- other than than, no problems!!

My wife knows better than that....she gets scared when she sees a pot hole up ahead on the road.....and that's when I'm driving!!!!!!
