I've got some questions I'd like to ask on behalf of prospective buyers.
mtaha, you said the tires are 245/35 and 275/35 - this means the rears are a good bit taller than the fronts, right? Why not 245/40 on the front?
Also, you said they're wheels for a BMW that were drilled for a Lexus, do you mean they were originally undrilled and then holes were drilled into them to match the Lexus lug pattern, or they were already drilled for a BMW and then somehow 'filled and redrilled' or something?
Finally, I'd guess since these rims are for a BMW that they're not hubcentric to a GS, is that correct? If not, do they have centering rings?
$1500 for wheels and tires is a great deal though.

The fronts are 245 meaning the tires are wider in the back (275) then in the front. The custom drilling was done on these rims to fit my car. To be honest wit you, I have a friend that knows and does all types of custom work and when he came up with the suggestion, I was all for it.
As far as the drilling and the center rings, I am not too sure but I do know they looked awesome on my car, I received many compliments on them and the ride was good.... I ll try and call my friend and ask him for the answers to your questions and I'll get back to ya.

Hey Bit , did you see or hear anyone run 245/40/20 tires? I was in a shop in Maryland and compared a 245/35/20 Dunlop Sp 9000 and it was about 3 mm shorter than a Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 245/40/20. The Michelin website has the Pilot A/S overall diameter as 27.9 in. , which is incorrect because I measured the tire at the shop. When I put the two tires side by side and stood about 5 or 6 feet away , they looked like they were the same height. The reason I'm asking is because I want the michelin tires.
