Default Brake Pads

Hi my 97 ES300 recently got new brake pads, but every now and then i hear them squeak... People have told me this situation can range from needing some brake fluid, to some moisture in the pads, and also someone saying new brake pads sometimes are like that. Is this true? Does anyone know if there could be any other reasons? Thanks!

Default Check e-brake

It could also be that the e-brake (or parking brake) shoe area needs some cleaning. This can happen if you don't use the parking brake on a frequent basis. I had that problem on my '96 ES when I apply the brakes first thing every morning before my work commute. Midas cleaned it up for me for $40. Now I use the parking brake everyday.
