Just curious if you think this is fixable by welding and would it compromise the integrity in any way, if so does 200 seem fair as that’s what I got quoted to get it done?

Not sure how a professional shop would repair that but they can make it look like new only question is cost. You say $200 that seems super cheap if they do good work go for it.
