will rx300 wheels fit is300?
for the winter...i'm looking to get some 16s to go with my 02 is300. i'm able to get some rx300 16s for a good price. would they fit on my is300? my lexus dealer said it should.

According to the RX wheels I looked at on eBay, they're 16 x 6.5" with a +35mm offset. The width shouldn't be a problem, I think that's how wide the optional 16" wheels for the IS are, but you might want to check to see if the 35mm offset will work. They may stick out too far with that offset.

Offset determines how the rim is backspaced (that is, how much of the tire is inside the mounting hub and how much is outside). I'm concerned that the offset will cause the wheels to stick out a little too far from the fenders. You might want to run this past the guys in the IS forum to get their opinion. As for the 205/55-16, they should be fine on a 16 x 6.5" rim.
Edit: http://www.usacomp.com/Offset.htm Here's a link to an explanation of offset/backspace that another CL member posted in another thread (this one's a tad on the technical side). I think the Tire Rack has an explanation of offset on their site, too.
