Hi All,
Need some guidance on the front 2 tires replacement. Quite unsure of what to do with the staggered arrangement.
Is it advisable to change all 4 or can I just change the front 2 which really need replacement. Rear 2 look like brand new.
If I opt to change just the front 2 , do i have to match the rear 2 in terms of brand and what not?
I have spoken to a couple of tire shops locally here in Mississauga and got me even more confused. Some said the Turanza's are shiite and expensive so go for something else. Another shop I spoke to said it is recommended to match the rear as these are run flats,AWD and bla bla bla. So, if I decide to replace just the front 2, I should get the Turanza. The other option would be to change all 4. Quite unsure on what to do.
The front and rear sizes are different so does it really matter if I dont match the rear 2 and go for something else? If i dont match, is that a big deal? Lexus Canada's website recommends the Michellin Pilot AS Sport and some random google search showed good reviews for these Michellin's as well. I could not find some related posts on the forum here so if someone can point me to any past discussion that would be helpful.
And if you guys can kindly provide some more specific guidance based on my post above, that would be really appreciated. Thanks a lot.
right now the set is what came with the car originally ;
All seasons
Front :225/40R18 88W Turanza EL400 02
Rear: 255/35R18 90W Turanza EL400 02
