DIESEL have you considered Lsportline Model 4, IMO those are in the top 5 BEST looking rims ever made, the smooth contour of the side of the spoke, the flat spoke face, the simple center design, which yields a longer appearing spoke.
Just think about it, bud. Plus I dont think anyone on CL has them in 20" Multipiece chrome.

Well - Why don't you if you can't decide then you will have the best of both worlds!

heheh yeah I said that, though I was planning to get a bodykit with the rims that I was going to get. But if I did have extra cash to spend, I would get both sets.

1) L-sportline Model 1 EVO
2) Zauber Gettins
3) L-sportline Model 4
4) HRE 546R
I thought about I-forged, symbolic, lowenhart etc... but these 4 rims I named were the only ones that I really considered.
But I wanted to narrow down the polling list to 2 rims. I chose #1 and #2 in a SLIGHT edge over the other 2. Or did you think putting down all 4 rims in the polling was better?
Btw: Would you know by chance if the l-sport 4 have deeper lips than the M1 since it doesn't have ddc?

If you go Sportline, I would go for Model 4, they are just so beautiful, and they have such a aggresive spin ( I saw them in 19" on a SC430 Pearl White). Trust me dude you cant go wrong, plus to be honest with you there have been MANY cars on the board with the Model 1

GunnerMac

thats just off the top of my head. i only add that if you trying to be different.
Model4 Model4 Model4, do you see a trend here or what?

when i was origianlly searching 4 wheels i was locked on the model 4's , cus i saw on the website how they looed in chrome but had never seen the gettins in chrome until gstrance photoshopped them on my car. i figured the gettins give bigger lips and have a nice fold effect 2 the spokes and were about 1k cheaper. so i went with them but believe me the model 4's r such a classy wheel u can't go wrong..good luck..

I doubt he could get a bigger lip than what others have had or have on the GS. Its not so much the width, but the offset that limits you on the lip size.
It amazes me how close the vote has been on this...it looks like its pretty much a toss up....which makes your decision that much harder Im sure.

I had a chance to look at the L-sportline Model 2 today up close. Wow, the quality of the chrome is very nice. This is the first time I ever saw any l-sport rims in real life. I was talking with the guys at the rim shop and they voted for the l-sportlines evo but also saying that I can't go wrong with either one. ehhh, I got about one more month to make my decision. So far the gettins are leading in the poll.
Guys, let me ask you this newbie question.
Okay, lets just say I forget about the big brake upgrade, that means I can get a bigger lip with a higher offset??
For example, is this offset normal for a GS.
20x8.5 +37
20x10 +38
I am trying to figure out, if I sacrifice the brake upgrade, HOW MUCH more lip can I get then?

well i made the sacrifice and went all or nothing and 20x8.5 +44 offset up front and 20x10 +48 offset rear . giving me a 3.98" rear lip front i'm not sure but its pretty big aswell mayb 2.5"-just under 3"...ask gs4will,i'm talking about the gettins not the sportlines.

You sacrifice the big brake kit and you end up getting 3.98" lip
but if you DON'T sacrifice the brake kit and wanna get 14" brembos for example, I want to know literally HOW MUCH lip do I loose because of the big brake .
Same thing goes for the L-sportlines, I read somewhere , I believe it was GunnerMac , he said the l-sport rears have 2.75" lip, but is that with room for the big brake upgrade? If so, I wonder if I sacrifice the brake upgrade, how much lip can I get then with the l-sport? Maybe 3", or 3.25"?
Maybe I should ask gs4will . You reading this

i think those #'s r 4 the rear wheel which isn't getting a big brake kit anyway.. the 3.98" is 4 the rear wheel, but ya one of the guys that would know is gs4will,,, p him he'll answer sooner than later..
or pm phluid he has the high disk gettins up front in 20x8.5.. he'll know what the lip size up there is with high disk which is made 4 big brake clearance..
