Default TPMS Sensors

Does anyone else on here feel like not replacing the TPMS sensors on a 7 or 8yr old vehicle and spending the $300 to $400 on other maintenance issues that really matter. I have been driving 55years, do most of my own work and regularly check my cars over every month or so. Just asking the question. Please I don't need a safety speech.
