Default Anyone have bigger than 18"s on their 92-96 ES?

I'd like to get some 20's. Just wondering if anyone's got some experience with that. Offset, ect.

I think 18's would look great, 20's don't belong on an ES

That's your opinion. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't think 20's "belong" on an 01 Firebird Formula either, but my brother's looks awesome. Anyone have an answer to the question please?

20's don't belong on a 92-96 es because it will not fit correctly unless you like the 4x4 look and want to go off roading in your ES.

That response shows your total lack of knowledge in the area. Do you live in Egypt? There are cars a lot smaller than an ES riding on 20's all over the place. Please do not reply to this post unless you have some helpful information.

You maybe FULL WITH KNOWLEDGE with wheels (which I highly doubt that ) But all your Rapper/Athlete wheel taste/knowledge aren't going to impressive anyone here in Club Lexus

I'm not trying to impress anyone, so I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about. I won't even touch your other comment. I just kind of thought that if I was going to get some information about doing a modification to my wheel size on my Lexus automobile, then maybe the wheel forum on the club Lexus website would be the place to get that information. I guess there was an error in my thought process. It seems that most of the people on here (who have replied to various posts I have read) are more apt to tell people what's wrong with their way of thinking, or what they don't like about their car/wheels/views/mods/ect, than take the time to actually offer some help, or information on the subject at hand. It's like everyone is having a contest, and each individual is convinced that their opinion is the word of god, and must be offered with every opportunity to do so. I think everything that Lexus has put out has been great, and there is nothing wrong with people doing things to theirs to make it stand out from the croud. If you don't like it, don't look at it. When I perform modifications to my automobiles, I do it with the same goals I have when I step into the gym every morning. Bigger, stronger, faster. That's what I like. Other people like 3 deck wings, tangerine paint, and fake NOS bottles. Hey whatever makes you happy. I will enjoy walking out to my car every morning, and seeing some chrome 20's sparkling in the street light, which is why I will do the modification. Not so any individual gracing the links of CLUBLEXUS.COM, or driving the streets of Tulsa will enjoy it, and definately not to give myself some false sense that my car is better than anyone elses, because I have 20 inch rims, and they only have 18's, or 17's, or stock, or whatever. I will do it because that's what I like, and I am really not interested in anyone else's negative feedback. I would simply like to know if anyone that visits this forum has put 20 inch wheels on an ES300, and if so, maybe get some specifics about the wheels. It's really very simple. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I'd love to see you get 20's on your ES, I just don't you will find a wheel that will fit at all. 245/35/20 tires wouldn't fit in the older style es. They will fit the 2003 ES's, but not the 96's.

Prove us wrong and get dubs on your car and post a pic. I bet it will never happen.

I think this is the reason most people are recommending you keep the 20s off the ES:

My God... are those things hideous! I concur that 20s don't belong on an ES.

anyone want to go muddin'?

20's on an es, it's like the tubby girl stuffing her self into something 2 sizes to small, just because it may fit, doesn't make it right.

I agree with Seize, some quality machine-finished 19s look great , to me, chrome 20's just say "trying to hard to be bling" And the unsprung weight of the 20" chromes with a dish design like that must be incredible.

Thanks for the info/pics guys. That one on the 20's does look funny. I love the look of the one on 19's though. I guess I'll look into that. Do any of you guys know a website that sells a nice body kit for the 92-96's? Thanks.
