Will GS400 17x8 wheels fit SC300
Want to get bigger wheels and tires for my 93 sc300; would like to stay with Lexus wheels. I'd like to run 235 or 245 x17 tires. Will GS400 wheels do it? Are the 2003 IS300 wheels 17x8 and will they fit the sc? Don't want any offset problems, and I'm guessing the GS and IS are the same as the SC offset. Any feedback appreciated; Any pixs of IS or GS wheels on the SC??? Thanks.

IS wheels are 17x7, GS 5 spoke wheels are 17X8. Here's a link to my SC with GS wheels and 235 rubber. I plan to go to 245/45 as soon as I wear the current tires out.

Most say the IS wheels are too thin for the SC and not safe for the size tires you want (I think most come with 205 or 215). There is debate about this and there are threads showing IS wheels with wider tires on SCs, one in particular in PA that looks fine. I'm not aware of any offset issues. Either wheels seem to fit correctly.

Sorry ricksd for a little side jack!
Hi Dean,
If you're the former 00GS400L then you know that for sure! The setup is working great. Just a little flatness when the tires are cold.
Hey when you change your handle isn't there some way to get you old post count back? Makes you a noob all over again.
