Default Can I flip my tires?inside wear.....

I have some 17 in BF Goodrich G Force t/a's, non-directional tires and because of the springs I have some inside tire wear. I have had the alignment done a couple times and these guys still didn't get it right with their 30k alignment machine. Anyways I tried to have Discount Tire flip 2 of my tires so the the inside would be on the outside, I seen a couple people post about it before, they told me that even though the tire is non-directional that it is only supposed to be put on one way and that somethin bad will happen. I can see companies doing thise but I could also see these dumba$$es that put the tires on there, put them on backwards all the time. I just don't see if there is no directional pattern that it would be a problem.
Opinions, cause snow is gonna be commin........

Default Flipping

Yes, you can flip them but you will reduce your wet and all season traction if you do that. However, it is not dangerous you are just not getting the full benefit of the tread pattern.

it might cost a couple bucks at a shop but why not just have them flip over the tires 2 the other front rims.. i just recently flipped the front but had them take the tires off the rims and shift them 2 the other side keeping the directional arrow going forward...just a thought...worked 4 me..

i had my rear tires swapped. left tire went on right rim. right tire went on left rim. the tires still end up going in the same direction. i dunno what the problem is besides the uneven wear. i had it done at costco and they wanted to make sure that the insides of my tires weren't bald already...they still had a decent amount of tread left.
