btw, the super chrome is only available on certain models, including the KH in 20s.

the important matter here is they informed me the wait time is ~3-4 months as they will arrive from japan thru ocean container, NOT air freight. and yes, they will not ship across the country
Thats the reason that I ALWAYS write down names for reference!! He told me that Superchrome is avail on the KH, but you know what the funny thing is? He kinda made it sound like they were in stock!! Its also funny because someone else called them and they said they did not even have the wheels!!

The one thing that kinda bothered me about the guy that helped me was, when i told him that I wanted a 4" or close to 4" lip on the 20", he was suggesting that I run a 20x9.5 with a 35mm offset!!, for a 91mm lip, he said a 9.5 with a 40mm offset would get you a 86mm (3.38") lip. So I told him that was a very aggressive offset for 20s on a GS, and he said asked if "we had any fender roller guys over here"?

I always think a retailer should primarily recommend a package that is bolt on package, not just tell you to get 35mm offset with a 9.5" wheel when you say I want a big lip!!

D..

this just goes to show you and many of us that CL is a valuable source for our rides..often times retailers would say anything to make you open up your wallet. even here in LA, a long time wheel shop even tried to sell one of the LS guy 10.5s in the rear and told him they will fit with NO fender roll, this all happened only because he wanted "bigger" lips

yeah man, I figured a place like that would be a more 'discerning' retailer for the 'discerning' customer, you know??

Oh well, at least now we know

Also, we got to solve the chrome vs superchrome issue (at least as far as Work is concerned ) LOL
