Can I use 17 x 7 on my GS4, and what is the difference? How will the tires fits differently? On that note, I wanted to go 245/45/17 for a softer ride versus 235/45. Will they rub since I assume on a 17 x 7 rim, the tires will have higher sidewalls?

PS Related, how does 16 x 7 differ from 16 x 7.5?

PPS Do we have 5 x 4 1/2 like BMW?

The rim width range for 245/45 17 is 7.5 to 9 inches. Our bolt pattern is 5 x 114.

and so what is the rim width range for 235/45, or put another way, what is the effect of 17 x 7, or can it even be used? This may help me in terms of 16 x 7 or 7.5 as well
