I prefer a little lower offset on the GS, personally... but basically a +31 to +42 will work with a 20x8.5.
+31 will make the wheel more flush with the fender- +42 will bring it inboard.

Most 20x8.5 wheels seem to be in the +35 to +38 range (I like this fit), and some are +40 to +42.

well with 32 you will probably rub a bit. mine is totally flush with the fender but it rubs a bit. no biggie, bent the tab and i am happy. on my 19s i had +38 in the front and that's perfect. that's the highest i would go though, coz' that's very inset imho already. i would probably do 35 if you just wanna play safe

most wheels i've seen r 35 offset when not staggard but if u can try a more aggresiive offset so it will b fluch with the fendor like rom said..
