Has anyone heard of these wheels? Any thoughts? Do you think they are good? Was thinking about getting this in gunmetal for my SC.

Never seen that specific model but Enkeis are quality JDM stuff. I had a 17" chrome set and it said made in Japan on the hub!! Before I got them, I didnt even know that

Cool...I saw them on a mustang in a magazine up close and they looked good. Not sure how it would look on the SC.

1Ton, I considered those wheels for my GS300. They look really great in person. Only reason I didn't get them is because I prefer mesh.

Are you in So. Florida? If so, there's a company called Good Roads in Ft. Lauderdale that has the largest selection of wheels I've ever seen. They have that particular wheel in stock, so you can hold it up against your car and see how it looks before making a decision. If you go with that particular wheel, they can also replace the center cap with a Lexus one so it looks more like stock.

Paying them a visit helped me make the decision on my BBS RGR's, and I haven't been sorry.

Thanks for the info. I live in Orlando. I will try to see if a local company has it in stock . After reading some posts about wheels I am not sure which ones are good or not. Here some people ruin their wheels and tires because they just hit a curb or something. Wanted to double check.

The Lexus center cap...where would I order that to match the color?

Also, how much would you think it would cost to have the wheels installed? I just got new tires.

I can't really give you more information re: wheel caps or installation costs. I ended up choosing BBS RGR's, so I left the center caps the way they were. You may want to contact Goodroads. Their web site is "www.goodroads.net". They might be able to ship them to a local shop for installation. Tire Rack is also an excellent site for wheels.

Enkeis are good wheels, they had a problem not to long ago with there "Electro Chrome Plating" process. They would flake in a year. That was 5-7 years ago. By the way Enkei is made in Madison Heights Michigan about 15min from my house off of I75 freeway, not Japan.

Enkei's.....dang....that brand is a blast from the past.

They were super popular in the mid to late 80s. Everyone had to get them...Enkie wheels. (Dang...Im old...LOL!!)

Way back then....these were cheapo, thin-@$$ wheels...that probably bent easily. Today...they look well made.

Wow, looking at the back of those... no assembly bolts at the base of the wheel spokes? Not a great way to transfer load (the load path is interrupted)! I guess they will hold up... (fatigue sucks!)

I would have thought they would have at least used a blind screw there (from the rear of the wheel- would be hidden from the front) to help transfer the load to/from the spoke. On top of that, it appears they use 7mm hardware? Yikes!
