Chrome 20s.....where do I start?
Whattup CL, I just bought my first Lexus yesterday: Clean, silver 99 GS400 with 48K miles. You all have done some sick mods.....I'm just getting started.
So....first things first,
Any recommendations on where to buy some Chrome 20s? Should I run 8.5s in the front 10s in the rear? If I want to lower at same time, is it okay to just do springs for lowering, or should I wait until I can afford the complete coilover kit? How much is that by the way?
I am so stoked about my new ride and the CL!

Welcome to CL....I'd go staggered setup...but that's just my opinion...make sure you get the right offsets and wheels to clear the calipers...and lastly...if you got the $$$$$, go coilovers so you can slam it when you feel like it.

ben the most important factors are you taste and budget, as both are individual to you. No one can tell you what to like, and no one can tell you how far in debt to go!!
with that in mind what style, budget do you have in mind?

I recommend Symbolic Wheels. While they are expensive high-end wheels, they have many good designs and they are three-piece forged triple plated chrome wheels - CAN'T BEAT THAT>
I will be gettign 20X8.5 and 20X9.5 on a 40 offset.
2.5 " lip in front and 3.5" lip in the rear.

For the record these wheels are well made, manufactured at or above TÜV,SAE,JWL,VIA spec and expertly chromed at the manufacturers. They have a 1 year finish warranty and a 4 year structural warranty.
These wheels are also very reasonably priced @$369 each.
Not sure why Mr. who doesn't like them as he didn't elaborate for us.
