Who makes the lightest wheels? I'm looking to upgrade from

The Wheel Weights site is horrendously outdated... but I give him props for making the effort.
Also, no mention is made of the 'disk' of these wheels (this would be a monumental task, I admit). You can make a 17x7" wheel very light if you reduce the disk (pad) height to basically nothing... but have fun putting big brakes behind them!
Another thing nobody mentions is the effect of the placement of weight in the wheel. Obviously, it is better to have the weight concentrated near the center of the wheel- this will reduce the rotational intertia, or "flywheel effect" of a wheel.
I'd be interested to compare (for example) the rotational inertia of an 18 lb. one-piece cast wheel to a three-piece forged wheel that weighs, say 20 lbs. Perhaps I can squeeze this into my future project schedule...

SoCal...is that one of the advantages of a multi-piece wheel vs. a one-piece? This is one of my many wheel questions I'll have to get to at some point in time before I take the plunge for new shoes. I honestly hadn't thought about that before.

the guy who owns the Egoist GS used to be on here a lot... just do a search for "egoist" and you should find his posts... I know his company was the US distributor for Egoist... Branzach or something like that?
