White Tiger, when you say "leased", do you mean the car or the wheels?
From the way I'm reading your post, it seems like you're saying the wheels are leased. Never heard of that before.

No, I have never heard of leased wheels either. The car is a lease and I drove it off the showroom floor with the 19" Enkei's already installed. I did not have them installed by the dealer, the dealer did the work long before I ever saw the car.
So the wheels go back with the car at the end of the lease. That is why I am not that concerned since I won't be trying to take them off and sell them at the end.

damn you guys get really good deals on fixing rims. around houston the price is pretty much locked at around $130 per wheel and thats non-chrome.
BTW you ppl that can get rims fixed for for cheap let me know if that shop will do out-of-state costumers.. i will easily ship some wheels i have in my garage that need fixing.

i bent one of my 19" carlssons...
pretty strong rims tho... had them for about 4 years until i got one bent couple of months ago... one time the 405 had all lanes closed except for one and that one lane just happened to have a big hole... i ran over it at about 50 i would think and no bend... i was running yokohama avs sports at this time...
i did however bend one running over pretty bad hole that was hidden in the shadows underneath an overpass no leak tho... i was running S03's when this happened

rim breakage
In my old audi I had 18 in BBS LMs and some dude cut me off and I ended up jumping over a median. End result... the front two rims buckled and cracked in half. The back rims were bent beyond repair, among many other repairs. And the ******* got away

NOTE: I haven't been able to upload pics on my PC, so I have to have someone do it for me.
Now I can start responding to my own thread !
I now have some photos of interest.
You could have done worse on the AMG wheels. Take a look at these. My local shop has the ability to repair this rim. So before anyone writes off their rims, take alook at the pics that I will be posting to see what is fixable.

Note that not only is the lip bent, but the barrel too.
Someone with a hammer and some skill can bang a small bend out, but something bigger will take a lot more expertise and more advanced repair methods to DO IT RIGHT.
So as far as discussing the cost of repair, we should all be looking at the degree of the damage to be repaired, not just the price.
Joshoowa, I think we all want to get what we pay for. If your shop charges $130 as a minimum rate that sucks, but like I said, you should be looking for a shop that charges a fair price for the amount of damage repaired, not just looking for a "cheap" price.

Let me make another note that not ALL rim repair shops have the technology or skilled craftsmen that will allow them to fix every type of wheel and every type of damage.
Less capable shops will just tell you that the rim is beyond repair.
I will post more photos of damaged rims that have been repaired by my local shop as the need arrises.
My local shop does contract work for most auto dealerships and retail wheel outlets and has been in business for about 15 years.

Here's another example:
When they repair a wheel like this, there will be no visible damage or any indication of where the rim was repaired. They also can match the original paint finish, including difficult OEM wheel finishes, like from the BMW M3 /M5.

Amazing. I didn't think you could repair rims that badly damaged. I also noticed Wheel Techniques can do custom painting.

Here's another thread I started that talks about my own experience with damaged rims and rim repair:
