i say tirerack. You pretty much get the tires to your door in 2 days. Great service as well.

I have always found it amusing to see 'cheap' tires on an expensive luxury car.

I guess the Kumhos are okay, we have no experience with them whatsoever. They seem to get decent ratings on the Tire Rack website... We have had good first-hand experience with price-conscious tires such as Nitto, Toyo, and Falken, however.

A friend of mine is a Mercedes Master Tech at Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Newport Beach. When I go by to visit him, he inevitably has a two-year old S500 on the rack with a ratty set of Hancook or Nankang tires on it. I mean, I understand the car is probably on a lease, but jeez, you'd think a person with a $90,000 car could coin-up for some tires that were more than $37 each...

You wouldn't wear "Ked's" shoes on your feet, would you? Just something to keep in mind when equipping your Lexus.

Considering tires are the only part of the car to actually touch the ground, i dont understand how people can skimp on them.. You probably will get what you pay for, although there are some more inexpensive quality tires out there.. wouldnt go with cheap though.. cheap price = cheap product ive found in many things.. just my .02

I would strongly disagree with the notion that Hankook Tires are of cheap quality. I have found them to be quite good and you can not only go by price in determining the quality of th etire. Many tires out there are simply overpriced and you're paying for the name and the advertising they do.

Ditto..... from my little experience w/ Hankook they've seemed to be pretty decent tires. I would rate them up w/ Falken. I however love my Dunlop SP9000's...... stick w/ your big ones.... tires can be what seperates you and the wall. If I had an insurance company i'd ask what tires you were riding on before giving you a quote!!!
