how to rotate staggered setup
i have 245x40x18 in the front on 18x8.5
and
265x35x18 in the rear on 18x10
obviously i cannot do the standard tire rotation... what is the best way to rotate if there is any way.
what is the recommended interval for ratating them
and lastly when i rotate them do i have to re-balance them?
thank you

There is no rotation schedule. That is the price you pay for having a staggered setup. Some people "flip" the tires, meaning they dismount the tires and mount them on the others side. Since most of the high performance tires are directional, you can't just swap the wheels. With more mounting/dismounting, however, you run the risk of messing up your rims. If you have an installer you trust, then this issue is not relevant.
I'd just make sure the car is well-aligned. If so, the abnormal wear should be minimal.

thank you for quick reply. I toss the car around a lot so my last set only lasted 20k miles. The inside was fine but the outside was all worn out. I know this is not due to alignment for sure. I want to get at least 30k miles out of a set of tires when i have to shell out some 700 bucks for them... oh yeah.. i drive about 25k miles a year.... so the cost really adds up....
so as long as i have someone i can trust, flipping is okay?

I had mine "flipped." Basically, it's switching the left front tire to the right and vice versa. Do the same for the rears. If you have directional tires, just make sure they going in the right direction.
I think when I had mine done, they balanced them also.

Directional
If the tires are directional and you flipped them without dismounting, the tread would be going in the wrong direction. You should rotate them from side to side and this will require dismounting and remounting the tires if they are directional.

Dennis, Why don't you get a camber kit?
