Default Anybody Running 17" Wheels on SC???

I want to upgrade the factory 16" wheels on my 95 SC400. I have 3 crushed discs in my back and need to be VERY careful about ride quality/harshness. Just had to sell my Tacoma pickup because of this. I'm thinking that 17" wheels are plentiful used and would allow for taller tyre sidewall for cushion. Any body with 17's that are happy with the look???? Nitro

Default 16" to 17" wheels = shorter sidewall

Going from 16" wheels to 17 wheels will give you a shorter sidewall and a somewhat harsher ride.

When you plus size the wheels the circumference of the 16" and 17" tires are the same. If the center diameter of the tire (the wheel size) is larger the sidewall has to be shorter.

I love my BBS RS 17" 2 piece wheels.

i had 16, 17, and 18's on my car.

the 16's were too soft and the 18's need some caring for... the 17's... i liked the most.. but i just can't go back.. supra brakes... the 17's are good balanced wheels for the SC... it's go the good looks and bigger tires that protect your wheels also.
