I'm in the market to buy new Rims and tires. I really want a staggered fitment (18 front 19 rear) but I don't want to jeopardize the anti-lock brakes, treadwear, Camber, Speedometer etc. Would some of you please post what you got installed in your SC?

Just go with 18s with staggered width.

If that's what you want, you'll have to get a significantly taller profile tire in front than back since the car wasn't designed for that. Having a much taller profile tire in front won't look that good IMO. I know someone who's done this and it doesn't look too good. Just stick the same diameter wheels and get different widths between the front and rear. You'll get the same effect you're after.

I think it would look great, especially with some coilovers giving the SC a nice forward rake.

Now now gentlemen. . . No stupid comments have been made, just opinions.
I think what they're trying to say is that it's a good idea to keep the diameter of the outermost edge of the tire equal between the front and rear track.
I honestly can't say whether or not I like the idea because I've never seen such a setup on an SC. With that said, I think it would be much more noticeable and succeptable to criticism. I think the NSX pulls it off nicely because the shape of the car grows like a wedge from front to back, allowing the use of a larger wheel in the rear aesthetically.
I am also of the opinion that if this look is not a success on any given car, it reminds me of an early 80s camaro that someone such as Joe Dirt would drive.
But, like I said, I've never seen this on an SC. JM.02 . . .

Sure... it will give you a forward rake with the smaller rim in the front and the lowered suspension... that is if you want to be literally raking the whole new york road which I heard isn't too great.

Don't think I would like it but can't say because I have never seen it. I think maybe you would be better just with 18's and staggered width like Chrono said. Or go 20's. But if you do the staggered size then post som epics cus they would be the first I have seen like that.

Well, I did some research and I think I'm going to go with 235/40 18's in front and 245/35 19's in the rear. It's not my intent to get a "rake" effect. I want to keep the car even. What I will do is buy the rear rims and tires first and install them. Then, take the 18's (40 profile) on my brother's Honda and see if the car stays even. If not, then I will just go with 19's all around. Neverteheless, I will post pictures when I get them. Thanks for the imput fellas.
