From what I can tell, the S03s are very capable handlers. There are just the noise and potential cracking issues.

I have Michelin Pilot Sports and love them. I don't know about the PS2s though since I don't have them. If they are anything like the "regular" Sports, then

I have S0-'3s too. 2nd set on 19's. When the front wore down (camber issue) they got REALLY loud. I have a new set with 18k miles and they haven't made any noise yet.

I think cracking is an issue with these tires. I thought misuse of a tire machine once cracked the old So3 tire I sold. Bridgestone does provide refunds. I was sent $150 from Bridgestone that I forwarded to the buyer of my tires.

Default Michelin Sport SP2

Having had both SO3 and now the Michelin Sport SP2, when I first got the SO3 I was very happy. The noise grew louder as the wore down. Ultimately I could barely hear the radio. I never had an issue with performance of the S03. The noise was an issue. I did get about 27,000 miles of the set..

The Michelin Sport SP2 has the performance, rides smooth and makes little or no noise even with a big 275/35/19. Could be new tire love, but all the tirerack ratings about the SP2 are dead on.

I think they are great.

27k miles were very good for the so3. i forgot how many miles i got on it, less than 10k, and the noise build up was pretty bad already,
