they are good, but...
in general, the sp9000s are well regarded by the car dudes. however, it depends on which size you choose, some can be quite expensive compared to similar performance tyres. i.e., you might want to compare the same size you are looking for in models such as the TOYOS(T1-S) AND THE BRIDE(RE730).
all three have very attractive tread design and hold the road very well in both dry and rain.

I have the dunlop SP9000 on my car and there realy good tyres they do grip the road pretty well especialy in the rain I have 245/45 18" tyres all around and the trend on them is pretty nice but a word of advice when you go to get them ask for the Y rated tyres not the ZR rated there exactly rhe same the Y rated tyres are rated at a maximum speed of 188mph and the ZR are at like 200mph and I doubt any GS in this forum will go over 160mph so there is no point in spending more money for something you dont need and they preform just the same if you wanna see how they fit on 18" and stock suspension check out memmbers rides and look at my profile there on the car and I will soon have a pic of them with the L-tuned suspension they look TIGHT!!!!!

Go to audiworld.com and click under product reviews. They are nice riding, quiet but not great high perf. tires. They have significantly less grip than a Pilot, S02, etc. but are probably a better daily tire if you don't push too hard on the street.

biggie, Z rating actually lower speed than Y or W.........long ago Z rating certified sustained speed capability of 156 mph.......then higher (faster) ratings were necessary.......had to work backwards since Z already taken
no rhyme or reason........H ratings = 130 whereas T = 112mph
guess it's too late to rearrange w/o confusing everyone used to the old system (like it's not)

speed ratings
Correction to previous post - this is extracted from TireRack:
Speed ratings signify the top speed of a tire under perfect conditions. Common speed ratings are:
N=87 MPH, 140km/h U=124 MPH, 200km/h
P=93 MPH, 150km/h H=130 MPH, 210km/h
Q=99 MPH, 160km/h V=149 MPH, 240km/h
R=106 MPH, 170km/h W=168 MPH, 270km/h
S=112 MPH, 180km/h Y=186 MPH, 300km/h
T=118 MPH, 190km/h Z=149 MPH, 240km/h and over

RealMarty, I think (remember, I'm the guy headed for the tarpits, and all memory forms degrade with time) that V has always been limited to 149........for some reason I seem to recall that Z was 156 but TireRack's chart merely mentions "149.....and over". As far back as I recall, H has been 130 (had 3 Preludes way back when, all had H rated rubber which I certainly attempted to stress to full H capability!!). I agree that something may be amiss in that charting......will research elsewhere and see if I can clarify.
