From my knowledge, these are 3 piece rims however, I noticed that there is no seal in between the inner and outer rim sections. They must be welded?
In this case, would I be able to take the wheel face off the wheel, simply, by removing the fasteners (rivets) ? Would I be able to reassemble the wheel simply by bolting the wheel face onto the rim section?
Thanks in advance to your replies.

The seal you see is not welded. That is the seal (soft compounded material) necessary to prevent air from leaking... My advise to you if you are thinking about taking them apart.... make sure the shop that is doing the seal is a reputable shop because I had Gewalt type M 3 pieces fixed on my 97 SC before, and the seal was not good and I popped the tire 3 times!!!
