Lightbulb rubbing with 19's

hey guys i have a problem, i just put on a set 19's axis mods on my 02 IS .the front are 19x8 and the rears have the offset 19x9's , I can't have any one set in the back of the car cause that will cause it to rub when the car is moving and hits a dip along the road. The car is not dropped at all and it looks like the part thats rubbing is the very edge of the outside of the tire with the inside edge of the quarter panel at the very top. I was thinking that i might have to grind down that insisde edge of the quarter panel and maybe it will give the clearence i would need, but if u guys have any better suggestions please let me know thanks.

you probably have the wrong offset for the back. 19x9 that's only the width, offset is another number in mm

but yes, you can just shave down that whole fender trim if you want, that should help the problem

Default Shave or roll.....

Shaving is one option but take it from an experienced bodyman, you'd better know what you are doing otherwise you run the risk of effecting the fenders structural integrity. Those lips are there for a reason after all.

Fender rolling is the other option.....

Perhaps the tires & rims are just too big to begin with & to be safe, you might want to consider selling them & go to 18's.
