It's true, the lowenharts are soft and not for these Brooklyn streets. I am in the process of fixing my wheels right now but they sure do look good with the drop. Take a look at my gallery to see some pics of the LD1s with a drop.

LD1s look great on your LS400. You are right. Looks better with a drop. Only thing left to do is tint. I think it'll look even better, since the car is dark. Not too dark of a tint though. I think you'll be surpirsed how the car will change its appearance. How does it ride with those wheels and after lowering?

That LS does look nice with the DH's (although those look like 19s )
