Which Tires?
Due to a flat and realizing the rest of my tires are pretty worn and ready to be replaced, I'm in the market for new tires.
Currently I have Enkei 19's with 275/30/19 rear and 245/30/19 front
I have the Yokohama AVS now and am very happy with them, except the sidewall wasn't giving enough cushion on bumps and at times I tend to dent the rims going over RR tracks and such. I'm aggressive, what do you want me to do? LOL! And I doubt my driving habits will change.
Anyway the AVS don't come in a taller sidewall so I am looking at the following in a "35" sidewall:
Toyo T1S's $289/ea
Michelin PS2's $329/ea
Pirelli Rosso's $329/ea
I am using a shop (Good Roads) that I have used for years and am very happy with their service and recommendations. He has stated that each of these tires performs very well and are comparable. Although the PS2's and Rosso's may have a slight edge.
I wonder if anyone has any experience with any of these tires on a GS 430 or any other vehicle for that matter and how they felt they performed. Price is not a huge issue, but I listed them anyway. Also, I am trying to get this done in the next day or two so quick responses are appreciated.
Thanks

toyo t1-s hands down imho. that's the tires i am getting next
the perelli rosso, if you really want perelli, i probably would suggest the nero, it's better than the rosso, and what i have on teh car right now. however, the perelli is quiet, but handling wise it's ok only imho

Damn Toyo's are on 3 week backorder. And Good Roads says the Nero's aren't available yet and supposedly they are a Pirelli distributer.
Since I need tires bad, the fronts have some bad camber wear (inside edge of tire is bald on both sides), it looks like I'm going with the Rosso's.
Next time I'll try to order the Toyo's before I get into a "must have" situation.

hey ed whats up bro , you seemed to have forgoten/forsaken me
my suggestion
i just got some new tires
i did the dunlap sp9000 .. i did the standard 245/40/19 but did the 285/30/19 in the rear .. the rear size offers a sidewall almost 1/4 taller then the 275 and is wider as well as long as your rear offset is 41 and up you will have no rubbing in the rear..
comfort wise these tires are comfy they are super quiet and very responsive.. check them out with brandon at the tire rack i got all four shipped from brandon for alitlle over 950....
i too was going to do the michelin ps 2 but 1 thing i did not like about them is they are not rotaionally directional but are inside out side specific so in other words you cannot flip them to even out neg camber wear and for the price of around 1400 i said hell no..
dude check out the dunlaps with brandon you will be very happy and think about the 285/30 for the rears it makes the car look and ride so much nicer ( also remember with the 35 series and 40 series thats the fat tire set up so you will sitting as tall as if you were on 20 in tires)

Toyos all the way I am on my 3rd set of toyos and I would use nothing else. The treadwear has been great, usually lasting around 20k miles. I have negative camber front and rear and if I didnt have that they would last even longer. I never have used pirelli but have friends who used michelin and they liked the toyos more. Plus the tread design is bad ***
