I sold my stock 17 inch chrome wheels (GS) as soon as I bought the HRE's. My reasoning is as follows:

I don't intend to sell my GS - it is a classic and I intend to keep it and pass it on to my kids one day. Hence no need to bring it back to stock. (For the same reason I sold other OEM parts like the grille, rear differential, dumped the brakes, dumped the original exhaust etc). I still have the OEM shocks and springs though - if anyone wants them, I will give them away for free - they have about 30K miles on them.

My mechanic never has a problem working on my car with the aftermarket wheels.

If I do want to change the wheels I have on it now, I would just buy new HRE's and sell the existing HRE's.

I don't drive my car in the winter and even if I did, my stock wheels would not fit on my car anymore because of the BBK setup on the car.

I got a good price for my OEM wheels.
1) i don't plan to sell my gs for a long time too, but still i will sell it one day. so you saying you are going to drive the car until it died complete and has to be towed away on the rotors?
2) my mechanics is the last ones i would worry, i trust all of them
3) man, i see someone is itching on the next set? hehhee
4) my stock wheels will fit with 25mm spacer. good thing i got 13.5" rotors i guess
5) now the money factor i can't argue

Lack of funds is the minor problem with this wish.
