Skinniest tires on20"???
Will a 225/30r20 work on a 8.5" rim?i know the 255/35r20 will work on a 10".Am I going to have major rim damage if I go that stretched with a pothole or any road hazard?Thanks

+40 in the front and +35 in the rear.I will probably go with the 225/30 up front and a 255/30 for the rear.All bfg stuff.I am looking to "lower" the car.I won't be doing any bodykits on the car just some stuff to make it handle and acclerate a "lil" faster.

Pirelli makes the NERO tire in 245/30-20 + 285/25-20 now- a better fit for the GS (in fact, it is the "correct" tire for the GS, in terms of circumference). This fits perfectly on 20x8.5 and 20x10- I did this on a new E55 (belongs to Peter @ Wheel Experts) and it looks killer!!
I don't think you'll find 225/35-20 and 255/30-20 in the same brand of tire- you'll need (for example) BFG front and Continental or Michelin rear. I wouldn't recommend this, but perhaps Brandon @ TR can shed some light...
