How thick is powdercoating?
I'm planning to powdercoat my brake calipers.......but I only got about 1mm left between my front calipers and the spokes of my wheels. So, does anybody know how thick is the powdercoat? I might have to trim my calipers a little but i don't think that's a good idea though.

As for the image attachments, it is a known problem that the techs are looking at. Linking pics from the gallery or otherwise (like what you did) works fine though.

I think gold is a nice color for the calipers. A powder coating site I just saw stated a 25-60 micron thickness...I have no idea how thick that is. How about a Type II anodizing?
When I was wandering the GS forum and saw that LS400 caliper polished out. I thought those were Yeah, a bit flashy. I couldn't imagine using a die grinder to clean the caliper up like that. That is some work.
