Default Tire Size!

I am planning on putting 20/8.5 size wheels on my 99 GS300. What is the proper size tire to run?

245/35

Or should I run 255/35

With a 245/35 tire I am worried about bending my wheel. So can I run a thicker tire like a 245/40.

Also I have the car lowered using Tein CS coilovers with a 1.5" drop right now.

any info on this would help. Thanks

245/35

with 255/35, you have to be very careful on the offset to make sure there is no rubbing or hitting the suspension.

never ever do 245/40 on 20s on the gs, very bad idea
