I can take some closer pics of it now. The pic in the below signature is of it lowered now with the HKS HyperMax II suspension.

Geesh.... that lip looks awfully nervous all naked and exposed like that!

I like the look with the lip coming out. It really streches out the tire so the tire life is a little shorter. That's the good thing about 3 pc. rims, if I ever do bang up the lip I can just replace the 1 pc. Here is a pic of my Nissan (prior car) with 10F, 11R, 245 and 275 19's.

How does that effect hard turning with the tire stretched that much?

Man, I HATE that look! A LOT of POS mini-truck owners do that...but of course, they stick the tires out about 6" PAST the fender...

Some tires though don't look too bad if you undersize it a little bit...we just did some 275/35-19's on a 10" wide wheel and it's not bad at all...very little angle....but 255 on a 10.5"? Yuck!

But I LOVE that Gloria/Cedric though...damn, why couldn't we get that car as the I30 instead of the Cefiro?

Yeah no kidding Manaray,
That look looks like the wannabe lowriding Sentras and Civics with the Roadster and Mclean spokes riding on whitewalls and they had to rivit on chrome splash guards just so they don't get pulled over by one-time for sticking out too much.

Peace

YES! Hehehe...that's exactly what I was thinking...but it's big in Japan...they're more concerned with lip depth than anything...I can't imagine the ride is good either!

I was thinking about getting chrome splash guards... Sticking out at a 45 degree angle too!

HRE 546R brushed/cleared centers, polished lip, polished & clearcoated inner barrels.
19x9 2" lip, 245/35-19 Pirelli P-Zero Rosso
19x10 3" lip, 275/30-19 Pirelli P-Zero Rosso

...unfortunately, I never bought the SC400 to put these on!
For sale, brand-new, asking $4500 (see classifieds section for full details).

On the 255/10.5" wide wheel thing, most people forget that a 10.5" wide is a bead-seat to bead-seat dimension, and does not reflect the width of the inner & outer rim beads (1/2" each!).

Therefore, his 19x10.5 is really 19x11.5 (overall) with a 255 tire = 10.03" wide overall... stretched 1.5"
This look is the rage in Europe & Asia currently.

That's true. Sometimes it looks good, most of the time they over do it and it looks very bad.

I tried to keep my car mostly modest. There are some people over here that have nice GS and LS models and just trash them with huge blister fenders and ugly colors.
