Hey, I finally have a Lexus, I can participate!!

2000 GS400

HRE 841R with Yokohama AVS Sport

Brushed/Clearcoated centers
Polished outer rims
Polished/clearcoated inner rims

20x9 +36 2.0" lip (high disk) 255/35-20
20x10 +35 3.5" lip (super-low disk) 285/30-20

Don't try these offsets at home, kids! Massive fender rolling & cutting was required to make the rear wheels work (I knew this ahead of time). Looks killer, though... see you at SEMA!

Regards,
Bob

I saw Bob's wheels in person and they are crazy! It blends very well with the GS styling. I have contacted HRE to attempt to fit 22" on my IS 300. They politely refused to do the project, more or less even consider.

Gosh, Ethan, you're making me look bad... of course we can do 22s on your IS300...
- you furnish the fender flares, I'll throw in a Sawzall for the fender mods you'll need to do !
"minor modifications may be required" - famous last words !!!!

Seriously, thanks for the kind words... Zushwa was just here at the office, I think he was impressed, too.

As always, if you guys/gals have wheel-related questions, feel free to contact me via PM or office e-mail any time

Thanks bitkahuna & Richie... the car does look pretty darned stunning, if I say so myself...
I have a few pics, but haven't shown them yet, as the car is nowhere near finished. I still love the first-gen SC, but buying the GS400 was a smart move- the car is so much more 'tuner-friendly.'

Yes, the car will be at SEMA... I can't wait! I'm trying to decide which kit to get, and the car will have a full Boston Acoustics system, custom MagnaFlow exhaust, StopTech brakes, some TRD Japan stuff, and TONS of other (but tasteful) tweaks.

See you at SEMA
