I take my wheels off and polish the inners every other month or before a club cruise. Hawaii has some areas that are more muddy than others plus it rains most of the winter.
Does anyone know the benifits from having the clearcoat? Because I'm thinking curb damage wouldn't buff out as smooth with clearcoating.

however, the down side is it will get dull over time, very hard to keep shine, compare to no clearcoat where you can buff all you want. also, if you have curb rash, tehre is no way you can just polish it out. you have to take out your tire for sure, and then polish the whole thing by stripping clear coat, and then you will have to put on clear coat again
that's why i didn't ge clear coat on my hre
