Sizing for 19's on a 97 es300
I did a search but I guess I suck since I couldn't find what I was looking for. Anyways I am looking at a set of 19 x 8 Giovanni Kobe's for the car. However these were custom made for my friends car with 58.5 offset. They are the proper bolt pattern but I was wondering if the offset will even come close to working on the ES or will I need spacers? Thanks.

Wow... those won't even come close to clearing the suspension on that car. The offset should be closer to +40... On an 8" wide wheel, I know you'll need no higher than about +44 on the rear or it will hit the strut tube.
I see a set of 18mm spacers in your future. Due to the tickness of the spacer, you really need a 5x114.3 to 5x114.3 adapter that is about 18mm thick-- the stock wheel studs are too short to accommodate a traditional spacer....
A set of spacer/adapters like this should be around $300-$350.
I would take a pass on these for the ES.
