Default Lexion Type 203 Wheels from Ray's Engineering (for third gen GS)

In this months DUB magazine w/ Chingy on the cover there is a Advertizement for Lexion wheels by Ray's Engineering (maker of VOLK Racing). They make them in a 18/19/20" diameter in 8.5/9.5/10.5" widths. And are available in Silver/Polished/Black/Triple Chrome. I contacted Mackin Industries (distributor of Ray's), and they said 19's are in stock. 20's are a 2-3 month wait. The "Black" is a painted face w/ a Polished lip. If it was Black w/ Chrome I'd definitely go with that on my Black/Black 3GS 430. I think I wanna do the Triple Chrome 20x8.5/9.5, but do you think it is worth the wait? I was told by Mackin Industries that I should do +38/+45 offsets in the 8.5/9.5 widths w/o problems and 9.5/10.5 widths w same offsets but I may need to roll the fenders. Do these offsets sound correct? What do you guy's think? I was also told that they are designed for Maximum Lip, 2.6" front and 3.5" in the rear on the 8.5/9.5 widths. I have included an attachment of the wheels and a link to Mackin Industries - Lexion Wheels, with a picture of tthese wheels and a few of the other wheels in the line.

the first offset setup should work no problem, nice conservative.

the seocnd one is very aggressive, i am not sure if it rubs or not, but even if it doesn't, it should be very close to the limit

Balla, I do like that Volk wheel, but it is only showing 19" sizes. I am set on a 20".

Romini, when I looked at the GS430 at the dealership, it looked to me that the fronts would need a very high offset wheel, like a +15-25. I remember that the 19" LE37's were a +45, but to me the offset looked TOO conservative. I think that you mentioned in a previous thread, to ask the dealership to test fit my Volk GT-C's, but my cor should arrive anyday now ( was told the 7th), so it's not worth the trouble.

I do also like the Maya DTS and RTS (I believe that's what they are called).

you mean the front will need a very LOW offset? reason being to clear the brakes? if so, the most important thing is not offset, but the spoke design, which has to be high disk to begin with.

i could be wrong, but if the volks wheels on the black gs300 at longo lexus (rear) was 9.5 +45, and it sit relatively ok to the fender already, then i don't see how the front can be aggressive. usually the front and rear sorta "compliment" each other.

just a though, of course
