Air suspension and Work DZ wheel?
Hi guys,
i am thinking of getting Chassis Tech air struts air suspension and 19" Work DZ wheels for my 00 gs300. My question are:
1. Does any one here have any experiences with air suspension? i heard lots of people said it work just like factory suspension.....i prefered airstrut over airbag and air cyclinder. what do you all think?
2. Can 19x9.5 or 19x9.0 work for the front without rubbing? because Derrick at D2autosport reccommended 19x8.5 for the front. i am thinking of doing same size all around.....Thanks

You should go with a staggered setup if you are going to buy Work wheels, it looks more aggressive, IMHO.
I had an airride on my car for a while, I had the air cylinders. I hated it. I had it for about 5 months and couldnt stand it. I had the F,B,S,S and people said it would be just like stock as far as handling, it handled worse. So much body roll I couldnt stand it. The ride was pretty smooth just sometimes over large bumps there was a little too much bounce but nothing horrible.
I have heard good things about kits like the airrunner. These are basically aircylinders paired with coilovers to give you a better ride and better handling. But it is kinda pricey, i think around $6k, maybe less now? Anyway the only way I would do it again is to sit in a car that had the airrunners and go for a test drive. If it handled good and the ride was good I would say go for it. But those days are over for me. I like my teins and dont care about being slammed anymore.

what pic? If you want to go to my webpage then click on my name and scroll down to where it says visit my homepage and click there. I have several comparison pics from slammed to the ride height I had with my teins.
