Default HP Design EVO: hyper silver dark rims?

Found these on ebay and wondering if they are a good fit for my car..They are 18x8 and 18x9 but i want all 18x8 so i can rotate them easier...They have a 38 offset.. Is 38 stock for our car?

How would these look on a pearl white Gs? I think they would look good.. but the car is not lowered so it might look really stupid.... Any ideas and thoughts...Thanks Tony

These will fit fine, a little conservative but still better than stock. OEM is 17x8 +50.

Lower is ideal but ultimately it's your car.

Neo someone is selling 19x8 Super chrome JDM riverside traffic stars DTS in the classifieds with a 47 offset... they look really good... It doesn't say the tire size but how would these fit compared to the HP EVO's being that the offset is different? Can you explain offset to me if you have time....Thanks Tony

The HPs will be closer to the fender. They both will fit your car.

Here are a few threads to look at:

Pretend you are taking your wheels off. You are moving it along the hub. A lower offset moves your wheels along that axis more towards the fender.

If you wnat that aggressive look, then yes, lower offsets are better. There comes a point, however, that you will be too far outside the fender.

As for the lower comment, it was an answer to your question about lowering.

If you are planning no fender mods, you can do the following range:

19x8: +32 - +50 (OEM)
19x8.5: + 38 - +50 (probably a little higher but why? )

The more you are in the lower range, the more flushed with the fender you will be. This is for the front. The rear has more room but since you are not doing staggered, you are limited by the front fitment.

SO I would probably do 19x8 all around with a 32 to 50 offset.... I just want all wheels to be the same measurement... How about tires? What would recommend? Thanks tony

Personally, I'd skip the 8 and get at least 19x8.5 +38 all around. Then put on 245/35 if you want to say within OEM spec or 245/40 if you want a fatter sidewall.
