HI, I'm about to sell a set of 18" amg's (from my old car)..with nearly brand new snow tires.. The specs are 245/45/18 .... Will this tire fit properly on my 2 rear 10" wide wheels? ...if so I'd love to keep them around for next winter as snow tires.. Also is there a benefit of going with (I also have the stock 17" Chromies from the GS) (but I'd rather not have to have multiple sets of wheels laying around my house) 17" snow tires..as opposed to 18's ?? ..Thanks 2 any1 in advance for any insight..

yes....more benefit going with a smaller wheel/thinner tire in winter

and yes the 245's will fit but will be extremely stretched

Thanks bro....but when you say "stretched"..to the point where I will lose any benefit of them being snow tires...or just less sidewall showing? ......Thanks

umm you have much less traction for sure. and structural wise i don't think that's good for the tire to perform well too

Thanks also Rom..maybe I'll just sell the tires w/the AMG's then...and jus' p/u a set of 17" winters... Better idea? ...
