this is a funny topic, because everynow and again, I see a w208 CLK430 going down the highway with the factory staggered wheel package mounted "backwards" (larger wheel in the front). Some people dont know about staggered so they rotate! So funny!

I have flipped tires on my older personal cars previously and experienced no issues whatsoever. With the NItto 555, I experience no neg camber wear so I have yet to flip

I think people take the car to Sears or what have you for service and then demand a rotation! LOL

Yeah Derrick, some people apparently get their rotation done at the supermarket. Maybe it's free after accumulating all those food points.

You're wasting your money on repeated alignments if they are just setting it the same every time. Unless something is wrong with the car (badly worn bushings, hitting some potholes or something to knock the alignment off), there's no need to align a vehicle. I've had cars that ran 50K miles and more without ever needing an alignment. And lots of times the alignment is WORSE after an "alignment" than before, unless the technician really knows what he's doing and does it right.

NOW, if you've lowered the car or altered the suspension, you probably need and alignment, but just because you go get "an alignment" doesn't mean that it's going to be properly aligned with the new suspension changes. Most likely it won't. Most likely, you've lowered the car out of the range of possible adjustment unless you get some adjustable control arms, etc. AND, the technician will have to know what he's doing, otherwise it STILL won't be right, partially because compensations need to be made for the lowered ride height (can't necessarily just set it to factory specs). Proper alignment is tricky business in 90% of the cases where lowering is involved.
