03' GS430 Wheel Fitment
I am looking at getting thes wheels for my 03' GS430.
http://www.kyh.co.jp/products/ame/s...shallen_cx.html
I want to run 19" with a fat tire setup (245/40/19+275/35/19) and would like to run 10" in the back. High disk in the front. I want to avoid any potential rubbing issues, because fender mods are just not an option.
I have been talking with GSWILL and he recomended.
From what I read here
A 10" shouldn't be a problem, or will it?
I am also planning on runing S03s for tires because they have a smaller diameter (26.6) than dunlops, and aparently more rounded than other tires.
Anyone have any other recomendations?

since you wnat to run 245/40/19+275/35/19 , the so-called fat setup, i suggest 8.5+9.5
19x8.5, +42 offfset
19x9.5, +43
19x8.5, +42 offfset
19x9.5, +43

I'm going to be running the same setup, and have the same exact issues as you. I have 19's 8.5 front / 9.5 rear with +41 offsets. I'm mounting the wheels this afternoon, and installing the springs tonight. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Here's the thread.

Going with x10 +43 should still be OK for the rear. Since you are running the fatter tires, you will have to watchout for the so-called intermittent rubbing issues. This means full lock turns, reverse, and big dips - all depending on how low you go.
I have 20x8.5 +43 fronts (at least this is what I was told since iForged do not have the numbers stamped on the rim) and I get these intermittent rubbing, even with midl fender mods. I know these are 20s but the diameter is the same as yours.
Also, you may want to read up on S03 noise issues as the tire wears down.

Thanks for the info.
You are reffering to rubbing in the front, correct? The 10" should have any more rubbing than a 9.5"?
I am aware of the noise issues with the S03, since thats what I have on the stock 17s now, and they are getting kinda loud. The reason I think I am going to go with these is from what I read they tend to be more round like the dunlop 9000s, but are .1" smaller in diameter. I figured that might help lessen my chances of rubbing. Is there another tire that might be better?

for the record i am running 8.5 +32 and 10 +43 20s (just like your 19s with fat setup) so there you go. 9.5 +41 isabout 4mm more inboard. i dn't have to trim my rear fenders
with 19s fat or 20s, you will have those rubbing in the front anyway
and for tires, i prefer pzero nero, i have that on my car. the toyo t1s are awesome tires. michillen are good but pricey

you can't just get offset numbers and do the math. offset goes hand in hand with the width of the wheels, you need to factor that in
