and of course, because this is not a BBS NA approved fitment 20x8.5 and 20x10 they dont carry them here in the states. Unless someone knows otherwise. So the alternative is Japan. This sucks

the 20x10 +38 you will need to shave quite a bit of the fender in order to fit the wheel without rubbing. what's the next higher offset?

The only other fitment they have in the 20" size for our bolt pattern is even more aggressive...

LM 187 20×8.5 +25 5/114.3

LM 188 20×9.5 +33 5/114.3

My brother and I have been going through the same thing for a few months now. We have a few places that say that they can get them but it's going to cost us big time. I've gotten quotes ranging from 6700 - 8000!!! It's freakin' ridiculous...I mean the wheels themselves cost only a little over a grand each retail.

The RGRs and RS-GT are also nice options from BBS for a Lexus, not as expensive as LM either

That's right, the RS-GT would be an option with 20x8.5 +38 and 20x9.5 +38

The LMs are 20x8.5 +36 and 20x10 +38 - perhaps aggressive on the 3GS, but I think it could be made to work. The big question: if we could bring in a set or two of these, would there be any takers?

Never mind. This just back from my contact at BBS:

"Special ordering them is not a problem…the time frame typically is. It has been running anywhere from 5 to 6 months on special orders. I would get a deposit because once we place the PO with the factory the wheels are yours."

Dang. BBS really misses the boat on this type of stuff!

bob, when you said "special order", what did you mean? custom offset, or just ordering any of the LM off the chart is already a "special order"?

Hi Henry,

This is not a BBS North America "stocking" fitment. They don't bring it in due to the low number of requests for a fitment such as this.

Apparently, this is a "BBS Japan" fitment and has not ever been offered by BBS NA unless special ordered. I believe they are custom built for this fitment- 5x114.3 is not a common bolt pattern for BBS NA, let alone in LM.

"Normal" BBS NA fitments are Porsche and BMW biased. Even these are dificult to come by- for instance, BBS currently has LMs in 19x10 but only ONE LM front wheel in the USA (19x8.5). More front wheels are expected to arrive by mid-August... you can see where this is leading.

You roll the dice with LM and other high-end BBS fitments here in the USA. If you happen to time you order just right, the stars will align, flowers will bloom all around you, and Guiness will flow from the heavens - and you'll have your new BBS wheels in a week!

But for a fitment/style that is a little out of the ordinary... hurry up and wait!

As far as i know, you gotta talk to the right person to get them custom made with the offset you want. I have seen a M3 with custom offset RS-GT, he is a race car driver tho
