I guess no rubbing if you were to go with a ET38 or maybe ET40 to be safe.
Current tires are Continental Sports Contact 305/25-20 but I know there is a
285/25-20 available from Pirelli now so use these and maybe it will fit perfectly
with size now.

now if you have 11 wheel, maybe that will explain the slight rubbing. but still i think the offset is good
if you have 10 +23, i don't think any fender work is needed. quite a few people are running 10 +23 in the back without any work done. but that's on 275. if you get 285, again, you might run into small problems
there isn't much fender work you can done to the rear. the fender lining runs together with the fender lip so you can't relaly shave the fender, thus making it hard. it's very different from the gs and the is.

20x10.0 ET23 with 285/25-20 is what I am going to have.
Should be on by the end of the month.
I believe there are no 275/25-20 tires available yet, only 275/30-20.
Yes I know many people use 245/35 and 275/30 but that changes the overall diameter
from the factory size and I don't want to do that.
By using 285/25 I can keep the size closest to stock.

11 +40 is actually 5mm more inboard than the 10+23 from the fender, if you are rubbing i am pretty sure it's due to the wide tires huh? i guess if you had gone with 295 it should be ok
very nice setup there for sure

I'm not skilled enough to explain this in english but suppose there is an exact
same size from Continental and some other tire manufacture (for example 245/35-20)
Compare the two and the Continental will have a less slanted edge in most cases.
This makes it more risky when you are dealing with a very aggressive setup
plus the design of the tire wall makes the tire look thicker, which eventually make
the wheel look smaller
