np reg, i never had chrome stuff but someone did mention the color difference is almost all chrome process. you definitely don't want to get one done, come back, and the car is off that it's noticeable

I sympathize with you about your situation.

If Maya will not help you then I believe riverside will, if the wheel is actually produced by riverside. The thing is if the manufacturer warranty expires after a certain amount of years then it is pretty much on you. Also if the chipping is not a manufacturer defect, but caused by daily wear or abuse then no manufacturer warranty will cover that. It is like buying a second hand lexus (even if a year old) and complaining that the paint is dull and that lexus should repaint it for you.

I have had a few customers with questionable warranty covered issues and every japanese manufacturer has been very friendly in covering the cost if it is a manufacturer defect. They even air in new parts to cover this.
