Default HELP!! Puzzled about an offset??

I was wondering if anyone knows if a set of 19x8.5, offset 20 and 19x9.5, offset 25 will fit comfortably on a SC300?? Wanting to buy new wheels and wondering about the offsets. I'm going to be running 245/35/19's on the front and 275/30/19's on the rear. Please help with info and anyone that has the same setup. Thanks.

yup... I would also recomend a 10.5 out back... your fronts are going to stick out more than the rear with those sizes all the way around.

Yea, i looked at that thread. However, i didn't see anyone running that setup. Is a front offset of 20 going to stick out farther than the rear offset of 25 even though the wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5? Still puzzled......

For example, if you have a 18x10 rear with +45 offset and you go to a 18x9.5 rear, to have a similar look, you would need to go down 6mm. So with 18x9.5 +39 would look the same as 18x10 +45.

When you say fit comfortably, are you saying no fender mods and not running negative camber to make them fit?

That offset listed there seems a bit much and will require work to get it to fit. got_trd is runing 18x8.5 with +28 front and 18x9.5 +32 rear. That seems to fit nicely without having do many mods to make it work.

I hope I helped instead of confused.

We really need to make the SC Tyre and Wheel Fitment Guide a sticky, has quite a bit of info there to help out the newbies and the oldbies (like myself ).

Alright, changed my mind. Ended up going with 19x8.5 and 9.5 Volk GT-7 in gunmetal. The tires are here, Falken GR-B 245/35 and 275/30. Just went today and took the whole car apart at the painter's shop and got it prepped for a nice new coat of paint. CHERRY RED. I can't wait til it's done. He says about a week or so. I'll post pics as soon as it's through!!
