At the risk of posting a really dumb noob question ...

I'm still looking into buying new wheels for my SC4. One of the criteria is that they must clear either the LS4 or Supra brake calipers. If I have a wheel that the the manufacturer has officially "certified" to be Supra compatible (manufacturers must "certify" car / wheel combinations in my country so you may legally use them), is it safe to assume that this wheel will clear Supra (or LS) brakes on my SC? I would think so, right? Or am I overlooking other variables?

Just in case, the wheel is 18x8.5, offset is 35.

i am almost sure (just in case), but i think if a wheel is ready for the supra TT, ithink it will clear the tt brakes on your sc4. make sure it fits the supra tt though, i think the normal supra doesn't come with the big tt brakes

Your right. I have a Supra (originally TT but now single) with aftermarket wheels that just barely clear the big Supra front brake calipers. I put the Supra wheels on the LS430 and they cleared the LS calipers with a little more space to spare than on the Supra.

Also, if you look at the wheel fitment guides for companies like Volk Racing/Rays Engineering, they list the Celsior, Supra, and a couple other cars in the same group regarding brake caliper clearance.
