I'm looking to replace my Dunlop sp6000, 17". Thinking of Yoko AVS sport. I live in Seattle, a little snow in winter abut mainly wet. Anyone with experience of Northwest use of the Yoko's? The discount tire manager is recommending the Michelin Pilot XGT-Z4 for year round use. i wonder if I really need 2 sets of tires for year round use? Open to suggestions.

David,
your best bet would be any of the followings:
Bridgestone RE730
Toyo T-1s
i recommed these two based on value, traction dry/wet, and longevity.
avs sport has good traction, but not good enough value wise.

David, you can't go wrong with either AVS or Toyos. I had AVS before and I loved them. Now I have toyos and its fantastic. I would chose toyo's over the AVS because it handles better in wet+dry conditions and overall its a little better quality, plus pricing isn't too shabby either.
