Do some research here on the forums. You will find a huge amount of knowledge here which will help you make your next wheel purchase easier. Like everyone else has said, a reliable wheel shop which offered better wheels would have been able to get you the right wheels for your 06 GS430.
Good luck with your next wheel purchase.

when it comes to the gs and wheels, i firmly believe that you "gotta pay to play." no offense to the low buck brawlers out there, its just my opinion...
up your budget, and do ur due diligence. i shopped around and was able to get 20" rezax (20 x 8.5, +42 offset and 20 x 10 +47 offset) in 3d chrome for $4200 out the door. i did kind of skimp on the tires and ran nitto 555s (got tires for $450)...

In most cases if you go for the cheapest possible thing (and 1500 with tires is at the bare bones minimum), then you give up alot of other things. There are decent quality wheels that may not be "top shelf" and cost 4k without tires, but you can be assured proper fitment and also probably get some other options that you would like (such as staggered fitment with the larger rear lip).
Take a look at this to get an idea of what i mean about less expensive wheels that are of good quality

You have a quality car. Put quality rims/tires on it.

You have a $60,000 car, yet you can't afford at least $3,000 - $4,000 for decent quality wheels? If so you should have just left the factory wheels on. Say no to cheap aftermarket wheels!

Well said D2... I wasnt trying to be an *** about it... I totally agree with you, that you can get more cost efficient wheels that look good, as long as you get the right fitment, tires, etc...
