Covering up raised white lettering
I just put on some Yoko tires on my wifes RX 300, but turned the raised white lettering inside. It was a tough decision, but two people told me all black is more sporty and that's what they would do.
I thought the white lettering looked cool, but I was doing the job and didn't know what the wife would say so rather than take a 50/50 chance she would like the lettering, I put it inisde....
I don't like the look of tires that I can see the lettering inside....so I am hoping there is a black stain or marker or something available that I can use to color the inside white lettering black so it's not visible.
I think I've heard of a product like this before.
Any one have suggestions?
Thanks,
Wes

I don't know of a product specifically for 'blacking out' the white lettering (that does not mean the product dosen't exist however). I'd just use a simple permanent black marker myself.
